Spring Assist Kit- suit SCSA Taipan lite

Note. This kit doesn’t change the way the rifle functions, it’s still a pump action rifle cat B. The spring assists in the forward stroke of the pump action, similar to how the Taipan X uses a spring.
The spring can be used to hold the bolt carrier assembly in the forward battery position with the spring’s power like the X model, some people looking for the functionality similarities too the Taipan X choose to remove the bolt locking catch, and instead utilise the spring to hold it in forward battery. As previously it was held forward with the bolt locking catch. When they remove the catch the delete plug simply blocks off the hole left in the side of the receiver to improve the untidly look and avoid an entry point for debris.
I do not recommend racking rearwards and releasing the pump on an empty chamber and allowing the action to slam forward. I believe over time this will wear the taipan, as there isn’t a round to buffer the forward momentum, instead I recommend keeping a firm grip on the pump in both the forward and rearward movements, this will also aid in accuracy and repeatability of aimed shots by not breaking positions and touch points.

The finish on all 3d printed products will vary slightly on each unit. As these are made with the FDM process (layer by layer) there can/will be minor imperfections.
